They can still go for more on ebay than they are in stores, but to my knowledge, not 50 dollars. The big one with the fuzzy hair is like 30 bucks at toys r us and the little one with the ribbon hair is 5 bucks at target. There's also a larger version of that one at walmart for 10 dollars.
The bootlegs are usually poor attempts to copy the patterns of custom plush makers and make them in mass quantities. You can usually tell that they're bootlegs by things like the description where it says "Pinkie Pie is made of soft and cuddly hot pink curly fur and filled with fiberfill, super soft fleece for both body and mane/tail" which is false in that there is no curly fur material used, and also in that there is no fleece.
The tags are there to make you think they're real, official toys, but they aren't. Hopefully you didn't buy one before finding this out!
I got a question for ya. Do you have any pattern/idea how to make the mane and tail of this adorable pinkie?
And if you have it, I would be really happy to use this. IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!!
I'm working on a pinkie right now, but I have NO idea how to fix this...
Greetz!!
