I'm really happy with how she came out! I used a type of embroidery thread on her eyes that has multiple colors to make it look more like light reflecting in the irises. I really like how that looks.

I can't take most of the credit for the hat, that goes to my mom! She designed it, ironed on and cut out the stiff batting, and even did some of the sewing. I just did a little of it. Hats are beyond me!

you made these?!? i am stuned. how did you get the material, and did you use a pattern? plus i am so jealous of your sewing machine!! i've been sewing for 20 year and this is way beyond me. incredible!!
